L'invention se rapporte aussi à des batteries dans lesquelles l'électrolyte est associé avec une électrode négative comprenant un matériau d'élec- trode capable de fournir le même cation à son interface avec l'électrolyte et avec une électrode positive formant un puits à un potentiel inférieur pour l'espèce non ionisée correspondant audit cation alcalin.
