ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A closure assembly for preventing transmission of inter- ference fields, especially high-frequency magnetic fields. The assembly comprises a closure which is disposed to be movable with respect to a fixed structure, with the closure and/or the fixed structure being provided with elements for establishing contact and thereby preventing transmission of interference fields between the two. In accordance with the present invention, the closure is dis- posed to move substantially rectilinearly in a direction substan- tially perpendicular to a plane along a surface of the closure, and substantially rectilinearly in a direction substantially parallel to the plane of the closure.
