The embodiments described herein illustrate a cap (18) for a container (30) comprising a cap body (20) that includes an upper portion (22) and a lower portion (24). The lower portion (24) has an outer circumferential sidewall defining a ring-positioning member (26). The cap (18) also has a ring (50) that includes an outer member (52) selectively engaging the ring-positioning member (26) and an inner member (54) disposed proximate an inside surface (56) of the lower portion (24). The inner member (54) has at least one tab (58) extending inwardly and upwardly and terminating at a first edge (60). The inner member (54) also has at least one finger member (62) protruding inwardly from the inner member (54) and terminating at a second edge (64) above the first edge (60) of the tab (58).
