ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A closure cap and corresponding container have screw threads that are formed by a series of rounded projections, each being similar in shape to truncanted cones. The projections are located adjacent to one another and slightly overlap with one another. The projections have a series of alternate ridges and indentations. When the cap and container are in a closed position, at least some of the ridges of the cap can engage with at least some of the indentations of the container and vice-versa. With previous devices, the ridges are added to screw threads but the screw threads are not formed of rounded projections.
