A closure cap and method of making the same wherein an annular or ring-shaped gasket is injection molded onto the inner surface of a cap shell formed of plastic or metal. The annular or ring-shaped gasket includes radially extending tabs integrally formed therewith, one of said tabs being formed at a location wherein the plastic melt is fed to an annular gasket-forming channel in a mold core and another of said tabs being formed at the location wherein plastic melt is discharged from said channel. Preferably, said other tab includes a cold well formation which communicates with the annular gasket through a connecting portion of reduced cross-sectional area with respect to the cross-sectional areas of both the gasket and the cold well formation.
Bouchon et procédé de fabrication connexe, où un joint annulaire est moulé par injection sur la surface intérieure d'une enveloppe de bouchon en plastique ou en métal. Le joint annulaire comprend des pattes qui se prolongent sur le plan radial et qui sont intégrées audit joint, une des pattes étant formée à un endroit où le plastique fondu est alimenté dans un canal formant un joint annulaire dans un noyau de moulage, et une autre de ces pattes étant formée à l'endroit où le plastique fondu est déchargé dudit canal. De préférence, l'autre patte en question comprend une ouverture en queue d'aronde qui communique avec le joint annulaire par le biais d'une partie de raccordement d'une section transversale réduite par rapport à celles du joint et de l'ouverture en queue d'aronde.
