Abstract A CLOSURE DEVICE A closure device for closing an opened carbonated beverage can has a seal which seals around the rim of the can . The seal is pulled down onto the rim of the can by a part of the device which engages under the bottom of the can. The device may comprise a cap and a base which together form an enclosure into which the can may be placed, and the walls of the enclosure may be insulated to keep the can and its contents cool.
