ABSTRACT The invention relates to a closure device for a front side of an in particular evacuable cylindrical housing. This closure device comprises a cap which encloses the front side of the cylindrical housing and has a front wall in which a bore is arranged. A sealing device is arranged between the bore and an inner space of the housing. The cap is connected via a coupling device to the sealing device and/or the cylindrical housing.
