ABSTRACT A longitudinally divided cable-sleeve tube made of a heat- shrinkable material has edges overlapping in the closure area and comprising closing elements adapted to snap together. Arranged along the inner edge of the cable-sleeve tube is an outwardly projecting bead which snaps into a groove in the bead located upon the outer edge. The outer bead is also provided with a pre-assembled support clamp, by means of which the edges of outer bead are pressed together resiliently in the vicinity of the opening of the groove. The support clamps may be made of wire-like or thermosetting material.
