ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A tamper-indicating removable and replaceable closure having a plug portion comprising a closure panel, a peripheral wall upstanding therefrom and terminating in an outwardly dir- ected flange, and a gripping ring formed substantially in the material of the flange and severable therefrom along interrupted lines of weakness. One of said interruptions is a hinge portion adapted permanently to join the ring to the plug.
