ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A closure for a deformable or rigid container, tube or other structure provided with an opening comprises a unitary body of synthetic-resin material adapted to be pressed onto the body around the opening. The closure comprises a lower member hingedly connected to a cap, the cap having, opposite its hinge connection to the roller member, a lever-like projection or ex- tension. This extension has a pressing surface and a hook forma- tion engageable with a detent formed on the lower member or base so that, to permit opening of the cap, the surface is pressed in- wardly to release the hook from the detent formation, whereupon the cap can be swung upwardly at its hinge joint.
