A closure member for a reclosable thermoplastic bag having opposing profiles wherein a first profile has an longitudinally extending part interlockable and substantially free of interdigitation with a second opposing profile and wherein the part is deformed defining indentions in the part to provide structural discontinuity along its length. The indentions form a raised portion intermittently along the longitudinal length of the profile such that the palmograph value of the closure member is increased while the closing force of the closure member is decreased. When the profiles are interlocked, an audible clicking sound and/or a vibratory or bumpy feel perceptible to the touch is imparted. Further disclosed is a process and apparatus for making the closure member wherein a closure member profile is extruded and indentions are formed within and along the profile.

L'invention porte sur une fermeture pour sac thermoplastique refermable présentant deux profilés se faisant face dont le premier comporte une partie longiligne solidarisable et sensiblement exempte d'interdigitations avec le deuxième profilé et dans lequel ladite partie en se déformant crée des dentelures formant des discontinuités structurelles le long du profilé. Les dentelures constituent une crête longitudinale discontinue accroissant la valeur palmographique de la fermeture tout en réduisant l'effort nécessaire à la fermeture. Lorsque les profilés s'interpénètrent, on peut percevoir un cliquetis et/ou une vibration ou une sensation de bosselage. L'invention porte également sur un procédé et un appareil de fabrication de ladite fermeture consistant à extruder un profilé et à créer des dentelures longitudinales.
