A blockage preventing apparatus used for a water jet propulsion unit (2) is provided with a screen (6 , springs (22), an engagement protrusion (21) and an engagement end portion ( 20a) . The screen (6) is rotatably supported with respect to the front end of a suction port (7) and movable between a closed position at which the screen covers the suction port (7 and an open position shifted downward from the suction port (7). The springs (22) urge the screen (6) to the closed position through a working shaft ( 17 ) . The engagement protrusion (21) is provided at the working shaft (17) and moved together with the screen (6) . The engagement end portion (20a) moves from the first position and moves beyond the second position. When the engagement end portion ( 20a) moves from the first position to the second position, the engagement end portion (20a) is engaged with and presses the engagement protrusion (21) to thereby move the screen (6) from the closed position to the open position. When the engagement end portion (20a) moves beyond the second position, the engagement protrusion (21) is disengaged from the engagement end portion (20a) and the screen (6) is momentarily returned from the open position to the closed position by the springs (22).
L'invention concerne un dispositif anti-fermeture destiné à des moteurs hors-bord amovibles de type à propulsion par jet d'eau. Un écran (6) est monté pivotant de manière à passer d'une position fermée où il recouvre un orifice d'aspiration (7) et une position ouverte où il est abaissé par rapport à l'orifice d'aspiration (7) et vice-versa. Un ressort (22) maintient l'écran (6) en position fermée à l'aide d'une tige d'actionnement (17) qui est pourvue d'une saillie d'enclenchement (21). En passant d'une première à une deuxième position, une extrémité d'enclenchement (20a) s'accroche à la saillie d'enclenchement (21) tout en la poussant pour amener l'écran (6) en position ouverte. Lorsque l'extrémité d'enclenchement (20a) dépasse la seconde position, la saillie d'enclenchement (21) se détache de l'extrémité d'enclenchement (20a) pour permettre au ressort (22) de ramener l'écran (6) de la position ouverte à la position fermée. Un autre dispositif anti-fermeture comprend une lamelle mobile (8b) et une lamelle fixe (10a).
