The invention is a closure system comprising a container having a finish (22) and a land (21) located at the top of the finish. The outer wall of the finish, just below the land, is vertical and the land slopes downwardly, toward the outside of the container, at an angle of between about 1° and 10°. A band (11), adapted to be received onto the finish of the container, has a top portion and an annular lip (13) extending inwardly therefrom. A disk(30), adapted to be inserted between the band and the container land, has a raised peripheral bead (32), the underside of the bead presenting a downwardly facing channel containing a gasket material (34). The ratio of the widths of the channel: land is in the range of about 2:1 to 1:1. When the disk is inserted into the band, a hook portion (15) on the annular lip engages the top and inside edge of the bead.
L'invention concerne un système de fermeture qui comprend un conteneur ayant une finition (22) et une surface (21) située sur la partie supérieure de la finition. La paroi extérieure de la finition, juste en dessous de la surface, est verticale et la surface est inclinée vers le bas, vers l'extérieur du conteneur, selon un angle entre environ 1° et 10°. Une bande (11), conçue pour être logée sur la finition du conteneur, présente une partie supérieure et une lèvre annulaire (13) s'étendant vers l'intérieur à partir de là. Un disque (30), conçu afin d'être inséré entre la bande et la surface du conteneur, présente une nervure périphérique en relief (32), la surface inférieure de la nervure présentant un chenal faisant face vers le bas contenant un matériau d'étanchéité (34). Le rapport des largeurs du chenal : surface se situe dans un intervalle d'environ de 2:1 à 1:1. Lorsque le disque est inséré dans la bande, une partie en forme de crochet (15) sur la lèvre annulaire entre en prise avec le bord intérieur et supérieur de la nervure.
