A closure suitable for mounting onto a container. The closure includes a main closure having a top portion having an aperture therethrough and a skirt portion depending downwardly from the top portion and adapted to attach to the container. A spout extends upwardly from the top portion and defines a bore that is in fluid communication with the aperture in the top portion. A plug member having a radially outer surface is mounted to the spout and extends at least partially across the bore. A top cap is mounted to the spout and has an upper portion that has an inner surface defining an opening through the upper portion, the opening being in fluid communication with the bore of the spout. The top cap is relatively movable between a first position where the plug member is at least partially within the opening and at least a second position where the plug member is withdrawn from the opening. Prior to the plug member firstly entering the opening in the upper portion of the top cap, an annular sealing rib extends inwardly from the upper portion at least partially across the opening to a free edge. The inner surface of the opening has an internal diameter relative to the external diameter of the plug member such that when the plug member at least firstly enters the opening, at least a portion of the sealing rib is engaged by the plug member and folded back towards the inner surface of the opening to form a seal between at least the outer surface of the plug member and the top cap.
L'invention concerne une fermeture pouvant être montée sur un récipient et comprenant une fermeture principale munie d'une partie supérieure présentant une ouverture traversante et une partie jupe s'étendant vers le bas à partir de la partie supérieure et conçue pour être fixée sur le récipient. Un bec verseur s'étend vers le haut à partir de la partie supérieure et définit un alésage en communication fluidique avec l'ouverture de la partie supérieure. Un élément de bouchon pourvu d'une surface extérieure radiale est monté sur le bec verseur et s'étend au moins partiellement à travers l'alésage. Un capuchon est monté sur le bec verseur et présente une partie supérieure comportant une surface interne définissant une ouverture dans la partie supérieure, l'ouverture étant en communication fluidique avec l'alésage du bec verseur. Le capuchon est relativement mobile entre une première position où l'élément de bouchon est au moins partiellement situé dans l'ouverture et au moins une seconde position où cet élément de bouchon est retiré de l'ouverture. Avant l'élément de bouchon qui se place en premier dans la partie supérieure du capuchon, une rainure de scellement annulaire s'étend vers l'intérieur à partir de la partie supérieure, au moins partiellement à travers l'ouverture du bord libre. La surface interne de l'ouverture présente un diamètre intérieur, qui par rapport au diamètre externe de l'élément de bouchon est tel que si l'élément de bouchon entre au moins en premier dans l'ouverture, au moins une partie de la rainure de scellement est en prise avec l'élément de bouchon et repliée vers la surface interne de l'ouverture pour former un scellement au moins entre la surface externe de l'élément de bouchon et le capuchon.
