A clothes hanger suitable for hanging jackets and trousers having a jacket holder and a hanger bar suspended below the jacket holder, and also including a clamping bar movable towards and away from the hanger bar and having an unobstructed upper surface over which trousers supported on the hanger bar can be folded, the clamping bar being slidable on vertical members which extend down from the end portions of the jacket holder. The hanger bar and clamping bar have generally parallel clamping surfaces which slope downwardly from one side of the hanger to the other.
