The present invention relates to a clottable concentrate of platelet growth factors for therapeutic and/or cosmetic use, preferably comprising the growth factors PDGF, TGF-.beta., IGF, EGF, CTGF, bFGF and VEGF. In preferred embodiment said clottable concentrate of platelet growth factors does not induce blood cell- related transfusion reactions. The present invention also relates to a method for preparing a clottable concentrate of platelet growth factors according to the invention and comprising the steps of contacting a platelet concentrate with a solvent and/or a detergent, incubating said platelet concentrate with the solvent and/or detergent for a period of at least 5 minutes to 6 hours, at a pH maintained in a range from about 6.0 to about 9.0, and at a temperature within the range of from 2°C to 500C, preferably within the range of from 25°C to 45°C, and removing the solvent and/or the detergent by oil extraction and/or chromatographic means.
La présente invention porte sur un concentré coagulable de facteurs de croissance des plaquettes pour une utilisation thérapeutique et/ou cosmétique, de préférence incluant les facteurs de croissance PDGF, TGF-ß, IGF, EGF, CTGF, bFGF et VEGF. Dans un mode de réalisation préféré, ledit concentré coagulable de facteurs de croissance de plaquettes n'induit pas de réaction transfusionnelle liée aux cellules sanguines. La présente invention porte également sur un procédé de préparation d'un concentré coagulable de facteurs de croissance des plaquettes selon l'invention et consistant à mettre en contact un concentré plaquettaire avec un solvant et/ou un détergent, à faire incuber ledit concentré plaquettaire avec le solvant et/ou le détergent pendant une période allant d'au moins 5 minutes à 6 heures, à un pH maintenu dans une plage d'environ 6,0 à environ 9,0, et à une température se situant dans la plage de 2 °C à 50 °C, de préférence dans la plage de 25 °C à 45 °C, et à éliminer le solvant et/ou le détergent par extraction par l'huile et/ou par des moyens chromatographiques.
