An article conveyor (10) having live rollers (15) driven by a polymeric driver pad (27) which has a wear indicator element (40) co-extruded with the driver pad (27). The element (40) is visually distinct from the pad (27) and has converging sides (42) in the driver pad (27) so that wear on the pad (27) is indicated by the amount of the wear element (40) visible to an observer.
