ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A coal delivery device is provided for delivering coal from a coal container, for example a larry car, to a coke oven chamber. The device comprises a guide tube for guiding coal form the coal container, a feed tube substantially coaxial with the guide tube for feeding coal to the coke oven chamber and a telescopic device consisting of a bellows member sealed at one end to the guide tube and at the other end to the feed tube so as to allow the feed tube to move axially relative to the guide tube.
