A coated fastener including a coating comprised of one-hundred percent solids which do not emit any volatile compounds when applied and during curing, covers substantially the entire exterior of the fastener, provides a protective coating to the fastener against corrosion, enables the fastener to be adhered to at least one other fastener end provides an irregular surface to the fastener for increasing the holding powder of the fastener after the fastener is driven into a desired surface.

Cette invention concerne une fixation revêtue d'un enduit formé exclusivement de solides qui ne dégagent aucun composé volatil à l'application et à la cuisson. Ledit enduit couvre sensiblement toute la surface extérieure de la fixation, protège celle-ci contre la corrosion, permet de coller ensemble au moins deux fixations et donne une surface rugueuse rehaussant la résistance à l'arrachement.
