ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE The invention provides a laminated sheet assembly for cushioned packaging of moisture-sensitive material, the assembly having a layer of resilient sealed-cell microcellular form up to about 1/8 inch thick, a relatively thin, strong, flexible supporting sheet, a layer of adhesive securely bonding the form layer to one face of the supporting sheet, and on the other face of the supporting sheet a layer of a polymer which excludes the passage of drops of water but transmits moisture vapor, to protect material wrapped in the assembly from external liquid water and permit condensate within it to evaporate out through it. A water-repellent layer can also be added. The sheet can be made anti-static and/or opaque, and strengthened with fibers that make it almost impossible to tear.
