The invention concerns a coating composition for coated paper designed to be offset printed, characterized in that the coating pigments are polyurethane microbeads having a size less than 10 micrometers, and advantageously, close to 7 micrometers. The invention also concerns a paper having a silky feel, comprising at least one side coated with said coating composition, and advantageously, both sides. Said paper is characterized in that it can be offset printed with little, even without, set-off or powdering.

La présente invention concerne une composition de couchage pour papiers couchés destinés à être imprimés en offset, caractérisée par le fait que les pigments de couchage sont des microbilles de polyuréthane possédant une taille inférieure à 10 micromètres, et, de manière avantageuse, proche de 7 micromètres. Elle concerne également un papier possédant un toucher soyeux, comportant au moins une face enduite de ladite composition de couchage, et, de manière avantageuse, ces deux faces. Ce papier se caractérise aussi par le fait qu'il peut être imprimé en offset avec un maculage et un poudrage faible, voire inexistant.
