The invention relates to coated seeds of certain plant species, the seeds having a coating for improving the efficiency of phosphorus in the plant nutrients during the early growth of the plant, the coating comprising : i) an aqueous fixing agent which contains a fluid byproduct of agriculture or fermentation and possibly an emulsified oil, and ii) a fertilizer powder which, depending on the plant species, is monopotassium phosphate, monocalcium phosphate, dicalcium phosphate, or urea phosphate. The invention also relates to a process for coating seeds.

Cette invention concerne des semences pelliculées pour certaines espèces de plantes, dont le revêtement permet d'améliorer l'activité du phosphore dans les nutriments de la plante en début de croissance. Ce revêtement comprend : (1) un agent de fixation aqueux renfermant un produit secondaire fluide d'agriculture et de fermentation et, éventuellement, une huile émulsionnée et ; un engrais en poudre qui, selon l'espèce végétale considérée, sera un phosphate de monopotassium, un phosphate de monocalcium, un phosphate de dicalcium ou un phosphate d'urée.
