ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE The invention disclosed is a wound dressing comprising a blend of a water-soluble resin material such as poly(ethylene oxide) and polyethylen- imine, and gelatin, in the form of a substantially uniform coating of an aqueous mixture of the water-soluble resin material and gelatin which sets to a gel and dries to a continuous wound-adherent film in situ.
