A device for coating materials is provided. The device includes two opposing discs (12a, 6) connected by a central hub (20). Each disc includes an inwardly extending flange about its perimeter. The central hub has an exterior surface defining a v-shaped surface (22). When assembled in a coating apparatus, a fluid material, such as batter, may be dispensed toward the exterior surface of the hub while the disc is spinning. The resulting spray of fluid may be used to coat material effectively, while minimizing waste.

L'invention concerne un dispositif destiné à enrober des articles. Ledit dispositif comporte deux disques opposés reliés par un moyeu central. Chaque disque comporte sur sa périphérie un rebord s'étendant vers l'intérieur. Le moyeu central présente une surface extérieure définissant une surface en forme de V. En fonctionnement dudit dispositif d'enrobage, un matériau fluidique, tel qu'une pâte, peut être distribué vers la surface extérieure du moyeu lorsque le disque est en rotation. Le jet résultant de liquide peut être utilisé afin d'enrober efficacement des articles avec des pertes minimales.
