ABSTRACT A coating booth for the application of powdery materials. The booth includes end walls with openings therein to permit passage of the articles to be coated through the booth. The booth also includes a boundry wall which is of circular elliptical or spiral shape to eliminate the pressure of corners in the direction of air flow in order to minimize deposition of the powders on the walls. The booth includes an air inlet and an outlet to which is attached a suction device for creating air flow in the booth.
