1. A coating composition suitable as a primer for plastics. 2.1. Plastics surfaces required a complicated pretreatment to be able to be painted with typical fillers and paints. The new coating composition is intended to provide a primer which eliminates the need for pretreatment. 2.2. The coating composition contains 1 to 5% by weight ethylene/vinyl acetate copolymers, 0.5 to 5% by weight chlorinated polyolefins, 0.01 to 5% by weight epoxy resin and 85 to 89.49% by weight organic solvent in addition to typical paint auxiliaries, pigments and/or fillers. 2.3. Coating of plastics surfaces.
