ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE The present invention relates to improved coating compositions intended to improve the corrosion resistance of a metal substrate, of the type incorporating at least: a) a liquid composition containing hexavalent chromium, and b) a powdered metal, which composition additionally incorporates a lubricant which is solid at the temperature of use of the substrate. The invention also relates to a process for making use of these compositions and nut-and-bolt components coated in this manner.
