Abstract A coating composition useful for plastic substrates is disclosed which comprises water having about 1-25% carboxy functional urethane polymer, about 1-25% carboxy functional acrylic copolymer, and about 1-10% aqueous alkali soluble resin dispersed therein. This composition is cross-linked by about 0.2-3% of a polyfunctional aziridine which may be added immediately before use, or prior thereto.
