The invention is directed to a two-pack high solids low VOC ambient curable coating composition, which includes cross-linking and binder components. The cross-linking component includes a polyamine, a polyketimine or a combination thereof. The polyamine is provided on an average with at least two amine functionalities per polymer chain and the polyketimine is provided on an average with at least two ketimine functionalities per polymer chain. A reactive diluent in the binder component includes a macromolecule substantially free from acrylate functionalities and having at least two acetoacetate functionalities per the macromolecule. If desired, the coating composition includes a binder polymer. The coating composition of the invention is particularly suited in automotive refinish coating.
L'invention concerne une composition de revêtement à deux constituants, cette composition étant durcissable à température ambiante, présentant une faible teneur en constituants organiques volatils (VOC) ainsi qu'une teneur élevée en solides, et contenant des constituants de réticulation et des liants. Le constituant de réticulation comprend une polyamine, une polycétimine, ou une combinaison de celles-ci, la polyamine présentant en moyenne au moins deux fonctionnalités amines par chaîne polymère et la polycétimine en moyenne au moins deux fonctionnalités cétimines par chaîne polymère. Le constituant liant comprend un diluant réactif qui contient une macromolécule sensiblement exempte de fonctionnalités acrylates, cette macromolécule présentant par ailleurs au moins deux fonctionnalités acétoacétates pour cette macromolécule. La composition de revêtement de cette invention, qui peut également renfermer, le cas échéant, un polymère liant, est particulièrement apte à être utilisée dans des revêtements de finition automobiles.
