A coating composition containing about 40-90 % by weight of film forming binder and 10-60 % by weight of an organic liquid carrier; wherein the binder contains about (a) about 50-90 % by weight of an acrylosilane polymer containing about 30-95 % by weight, based on the weight of the acrylosilane polymer, of polymerized monomers of styrene, alkyl (meth)acrylates having 1-12 carbon atoms in the alkyl group and hydroxy alkyl (meth)acrylates having 1-4 carbon atoms in the alkyl group and any mixtures thereof and 5-70 % by weight, based on the weight of the polymer, of polymerized ethylenically unsaturated monomers containing reactive silane groups and the polymer has a weight average molecular weight of about 1000-30000; (b) about 5-25 % by weight of non-aqueous dispersed polymer of (i) a macromolecular core having a weight average molecular weight of about 50000-500000, and (ii) attached to the macromolecular core, a plurality of macromonomer chains having a weight average molecular weight of about 1000-30000 of 5-30 % by weight, based on the weight of the macromonomer, of polymerized ethylenically unsaturated monomers which having functional groups selected from the following epoxide, anhydride, isocyanate, silane, acid hydroxy, amide or any combination of these groups; and about 70-95 % by weight, based on the weight of the macromonomer, of at least one other polymerized ethylenically unsaturated monomer without a cross- linking functionality; and (c) about 5-25 % by weight, of a cross-linking agent of tris(alkoxy carbonylamino) triazine.
Composition de revêtement contenant 40 à 90 % en poids environ d'un liant filmogène et 10 à 60 % en poids d'un véhicule liquide organique. Le liant comprend: a) environ 50 à 90 % en poids d'un polymère d'acrylosilane renfermant 30 à 95 % en poids environ, sur la base du poids du polymère d'acrylosilane, de monomères polymérisés de styrène, des alkyl(meth)acrylates comportant 1 à 12 atomes de carbone dans le groupe alkyle et des hydroxyalkyl(méth)acrylates comportant 1 à 4 atomes de carbone dans le groupe alkyle et leurs mélanges, et 5 à 70 % en poids, sur la base du poids du polymère, de monomères éthyléniquement insaturés polymérisés contenant des groupes silane réactifs, le polymère ayant un poids moléculaire moyen en poids compris entre 1000 et 30000 environ; b) environ 5 à 25 % en poids d'un polymère dispersé non aqueux constitué de (i) un coeur macromoléculaire ayant un poids moléculaire moyen en poids compris entre 50000 et 500000 environ, et (ii) fixées sur le coeur macromoléculaire, une pluralité de chaînes de macromonomères ayant un poids moléculaire moyen en poids compris entre 1000 et 30000 environ, constituées de 5 à 30 % en poids, sur la base du poids du macromonomère, de monomères éthyléniquement insaturés polymérisés portant des groupes fonctionnels choisis entre époxide, anhydride, isocyanate, silane, hydroxy acide, amide ou une combinaison de ces groupes; et d'environ 70 à 95 % en poids, sur la base du poids du macromonomère, d'au moins un autre monomère éthyléniquement insaturé polymérisé, sans fonctionnalité de réticulation; et c) environ 5 à 25 % en poids d'un agent de réticulation constitué de tri(alcoxycarbonylamino)triazine.
