Coating compositions are provided which include a polysiloxane comprising at least one reactive functional group, at least one material comprising at least one reactive functional group, and at least one boron-containing compound. Also provided are multi-layer composite coatings formed from a basecoat deposited from a pigmented coating composition and a topcoat applied over the basecoat, the topcoat deposited from the aforementioned coating composition. Methods for repairing a multi-layer composite coating and coated substrates are also provided. The compositions of the invention provide highly scratch resistant coatings, particularly highly scratch resistant color-plus-clear coatings, which have excellent intercoat adhesion to subsequently applied coating layers.
L'invention concerne des compositions de revêtement contenant un polysiloxane composé d'au moins un groupe fonctionnel réactif, d'au moins un matériau comprenant au moins un groupe fonctionnel réactif, ainsi que d'au moins un composé contenant du bore. Elle concerne également des revêtements composites multicouche constitués par une couche de base consistant en une composition de revêtement pigmenté et une couche supérieure appliquée au-dessus de la couche de base et constituée par ladite composition de revêtement. Elle concerne également des procédés servant à réparer un revêtement composite multicouche et des substrats revêtus. Ces compositions permettent d'obtenir des revêtements extrêmement résistants aux rayures, en particulier, des revêtements colorés et transparents extrêmement résistants aux rayures et présentant une adhérence excellente à des couches de revêtements appliquées de façon consécutive.
