ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A first layer of a PVC lacquer or paint is applied directly to the entire outer surface of the slats. A second layer of a plain lacquer or paint is applied over the first layer and a third layer of PVC lacquer or paint is applied over the second layer. The second layer consists of a paint or lacquer which clings to PVC or softened paint. Designs can be formed in the second layer by mixing different colours lacquers or paints or by forming the second layer from KRAK-ALAC lacquer or paint or marble webbing lacquer or paint. - 10 -
