The invention relates to a metal surface coated with a thermoplastic polymer and comprising at least one adhesive arranged between the metal surface and the thermoplastic polymer, said adhesive having a VICAT point lower than or at the most substantially equal to the possible heating temperature of the metal surface. In an alternative, an epoxy resin is added between the metal and the adhesive. It is particularly useful for the external surfaces of tubes which cannot be heated to a temperature exceeding 55-70 ·C. The adhesive is preferably a copolymer ethylen/alkyl (meth)acrylate/maleic anhydride.

L'invention concerne une surface métallique revêtue d'un polymère thermoplastique et comprenant au moins un adhésif disposé entre la surface métallique et le polymère thermoplastique, ledit adhésif ayant un point VICAT inférieur ou au plus sensiblement égal à la température de chauffe possible de la surface métallique. Selon une variante, on ajoute une résine epoxy entre le métal et l'adhésif. Elle est particulièrement utile pour les surfaces extérieures de tubes ne pouvant être chauffés au-delà de 55 à 70 ~C. L'adhésif est de préférence un copolymère éthylène/(méth)acrylate d'alkyle/anhydride maléique.
