Process for forming a coating on a surface of a substrate which comprises; (i) applying a layer of a composition comprising a polymer phase, in which the polymer phase comprises a crystallisable polymer selected from polyesters, polyamides, and polycarbonates, in intimate admixture with a non-curable solvent for the crystallisable polymer, and, (ii) heating the applied layer to a temperature at least high enough to cause film formation.

Procédé pour appliquer un revêtement sur une surface d'un substrat, consistant à : i) appliquer une couche d'une composition renfermant une phase polymérique, cette dernière étant constituée d'un polymère cristallisable choisi parmi des polyesters, des polyamides et des polycarbonates, en mélange intime avec un solvant non réticulable pour le polymère cristallisable; (ii) chauffer la couche appliquée, à une température assez élevée pour permettre la formation du film.
