ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE The present invention provides a coaxial cable hook up wrench comprising an elongated body portion having a hollow interior, first and second open ends and a slot extending completely along the full length of the body portion from the first to the second open end with the slot opening to the hollow interior of the wrench. The first end of the wrench is provided with a pair of axially extending pins which are located diametrically opposite one another on the first end of the wrench and which are used to install a cable hook up filter to which the coaxial cable is connected. The slot and the hollow interior allow fitting of the wrench directly over the cable.
