A connector (10) provided for terminating coaxial cable. The connector includes a connector body (12) having a cable receiving end (24) and an opposed connection end (26). A locking sleeve (14) is provided in detachable, re-attachable snap engagement with the insertion end of the connector body (12) for securing the cable in the connector body. The cable may be terminated to the connector body by inserting the cable into the locking sleeve or the locking sleeve may be detachably removed from the connector body and the cable inserted directly into the cable body with the locking sleeve detached subsequently.
Cette invention concerne un connecteur (10) pour extrémité de câble coaxial. Le connecteur comprend un corps (12) avec extrémité réceptrice de câble (24) et extrémité opposée (26). Le connecteur comporte une bague de verrouillage (14) détachable et réencliquetable sur l'extrémité insertion du corps de connecteur (12) pour fixation du câble sur ledit corps. Le branchement du câble sur le connecteur peut se faire par insertion du câble dans la bague de verrouillage ou bien le câble peut être inséré directement dans le corps de connecteur avec dépose après coup de la bague de verrouillage.
