ABSTRACT A coaxial waveguide phase shifter consists of a coaxial waveguide section, comprising an external hollow cylindrical conductor and an internal hollow concentric conductor, and an elongated parallel iris structures extending between the conductors. The inner conductor may be cylindrical and the iris structure formed by multiple-spaced parallel irises which may be differently shaped and fixed to the external or to the internal conductor. By making the cross-section of the internal conductor rectangular, the iris structure may be provided by external surfaces of the conductor.
