COBALT-PROMOTED FISCHER-TROPSCH CATALYSTS ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE Iron-cobalt spinels which contain low levels of cobalt, in an iron/cobalt atomic ratio of 7:1 to 35:1, are converted to Fischer-Tropsch catalysts upon reduction and carbiding that exhibit high activity and selectivity to C2-C6 olefins and low CH4 production.
