A cochlear implant system has a signal processor (50) that fits in the ear canal of a user. The signal processor (50) processes an acoustic signal present in the ear of the user to produce a representative radio signal. A power transmitter transmits an electrical power signal through the skin of the user. A cochlear implant receives the radio signal and the electrical power signal and produces for the auditory nerve of the user an electrical stimulation signal representative of the acoustic signal.

Ce système d'implant cochléaire comprend un processeur (50) de signaux qui s'ajuste dans le conduit auditif d'un utilisateur. Ce processeur (50) traite un signal acoustique présent dans l'oreille de l'utilisateur, afin de produire un signal radio représentatif. Un émetteur de puissance émet un signal de puissance électrique à travers la peau de l'utilisateur. L'implant cochléaire reçoit le signal radio et le signal de puissance électrique et produit, pour le nerf auditif de l'utilisateur, un signal de stimulation représentatif du signal acoustique.
