A coil body (1) with connecting pins (3) injected in a lower flange (2), said pins being windable with coil winding wires, is characterized in that ends (3a) of the connecting pins to be injected are provided with a circular embossing (4). The embossing is applied to the material by a circularly cylindrical needle (10) polished to a high gloss. Producing embossing with a very low depth of roughness effectively eliminates the tin dust that would otherwise be created in the shaping process, thus drastically reducing contamination of the injection tools. In addition, this embodiment definitely increases the force required to pull out the pins.
