Coil-forming head to form coils (15) starting from continuous and substantially rectilinear rolled stock (11), of the type comprising a mandrel (18) rotating around a substantially horizontal axis, containing inside itself a shaped tube (24) conformed as a spiral inside which the rolled stock (11) is introduced, there being included, in cooperation with the outlet end section of said shaped tube (24), a ring-shaped containing element (29) arranged outside said shaped tube (24), and including at least a segment (29b) of inner wall which tapers and diverges towards the outside suitable to allow a controlled expansion of the trailing-end segment (11a) of the rolled stock (11).

Tête de bobinage destinée à former des bobinages (15) à partir d'une matière de départ (11) laminée continue et pratiquement linéaire, du type comportant un mandrin (18) tournant autour d'un axe pratiquement horizontal. Ledit mandrin contient un tube (24) en forme de spirale à l'intérieur duquel est introduite la matière départ (11) laminée. Cette tête comprend encore, en coopération avec la partie terminale de sortie dudit tube (24), un élément de retenue annulaire (29) disposé à l'extérieur du tube (24) et comportant au moins un segment (29b) de paroi interne de forme conique qui s'élargit vers l'extérieur, adapté pour permettre l'expansion régulée de l'extrémité de traîne (11a) de la matière de départ (11).
