A cable for conducting electric current from a source receptacle to a loud receptacle. The came includes a primary cord including an electrical conductor with a first terminal end and a second terminal end, and a ground curd including an electrical conductor for establishing aft electrical connection between a circuit including the cable and ground. A first plug is adapted to conduct the; electric current between a contact provided to the source receptacle and the first terminal end, and a second plug is adapted to conduct the electric current between the second terminal end and a contact provided to the load receptacle. At least one of the first plug and the second plot is compatible with a single-prong receptacle.
