A coiled well screen includes an elongated and flexible tubular member wound in the shape of a coil. The tubular screen member may include support rods disposed cylindrically and extending in the axial direction and wire means to form slits of a predetermined width. The coiled screen may further include an elongated and flexible perforated tube formed with openings at a predetermined interval.
