The invention concerns a coin-checking arrangement in which, during checking, the coins (1) move progressively along a side wall (6) of a coin channel (2) and past two coil halves (4a, 4b) which are disposed opposite each other either side of the coin channel (2) and are connected in series in phase opposition. The coil half (4b), which is located on the same side of the coin channel (2) as the side wall (6), has lower resistance than the other coil half (4a) and preferably consists of litz wire.

L'invention concerne un système dans lequel pendant le processus de vérification, les pièces de monnaie (1) progressent le long d'une paroi latérale (6) d'un canal (2) réservé au passage des pièces de monnaie et passent devant deux moitiés de bobine (4a, 4b), montées opposées des deux côtés du canal (2) réservé au passage des pièces de monnaie et couplées en série en opposition de phase. La moitié de bobine (4b) située du même côté du canal (2) que la paroi latérale (6) a une valeur ohmique inférieure à celle de l'autre moitié de bobine (4a) et est réalisée de préférence en fil toronné.
