A coin handling apparatus having a passageway in which coins travel, and an impact element (10) secured to a part (4) of the apparatus in a position where it will be struck by a travelling coin so as to reduce the kinetic energy of the coin, characterised in that the impact element has a securing portion (38) around which plastics material, of which said part is made, has been moulded to secure the impact element.

Cette invention concerne un dispositif d'encaissement de pièces de monnaie dont la goulotte comporte une butée (10) fixée à une pièce (4) du dispositif à un endroit où elle sera heurtée par une pièce de monnaie qui, du fait du choc, y abandonnera une partie de son énergie cinétique, ladite butée ayant une partie de fixation (38) entourée de plastique surmoulé, le même matériau dont est faite la pièce susmentionnée, pour en assurer le verrouillage en place.
