ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE In general, coin holders and counting devices are somewhat complicated in terms of structure, and thus labour intensive and expensive to produce. A relatively simple device of this type includes a one-piece, elongated body in the shape of a rectangular parallelepiped, with a plurality of cylindrical slots extending vertically therethrough, the slots having open fronts and being equal in number to the coin compartments of a cash register drawer; a transparent front wall closing the open fronts of the slots; indicia on the front wall adjacent the slots for indicating the number of coins in the slots; and a slide in the base of the device normally closing the bottom ends of the slots, the slide being movable to open the slots so that coins can be removed.
