The present invention provides a coin storage insert for use with a cash register change drawer tray particularly of the type for inserting into oneof the paper money partitions of the change drawer tray. The change storage insert comprises an insert body separate from the change drawer tray, a pair of spaced apart parallel side walls, a front wall, a rear wall, a bottom, and an open top. The front wall curves from a top edge downwards towards the bottom and the bottom curves upwards at a front end to meet with the front wall forming a continuous curved surface to allow for easy removal of coins.
