ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE In coke-oven charging cars, it is known to have a lifting device which raises the cover of the coke-oven chamber to be filled. These covers are set down on the roof in the vicinity of the filler-holes. In this in- vention, the charging car is equipped with a device for receiving the covers, the covers having been placed upon the said device by means of a lifting device.
