The invention relates to a coke oven chamber comprising at least one oven door and at least one gas channel comprising at least one external and at least one internal door sealing strip whereby said gas channel surrounds the oven door in an essentially comprehensive manner. The inner door sealing strip (7) creates fluidic connections between the coke oven chamber (2) and the gas channel (1) at different heights of the coke oven chamber (2) such that regions of the coke oven chamber are connected to each other with differing gas pressure via fluidic connections to the inner door sealing strips (7) and the gas channel (1), whereby a gas pressure is equalized.

L'invention concerne une chambre de four à coke qui comporte au moins une porte de four et un canal à gaz entourant pratiquement la totalité de la porte de four et présentant au moins une garniture d'étanchéité de porte extérieure et une garniture d'étanchéité de porte intérieure. Cette dernière (7) assure des liaisons fluidiques entre la chambre de four à coke (2) et le canal à gaz (1) à différentes hauteurs de la chambre (2) de sorte que les zones de la chambre présentant des pressions gazeuses différentes soient reliées entre elles par les liaisons fluidiques, au niveau de la garniture d'étanchéité intérieure (7) et du canal à gaz (1) afin d'assurer une compensation des pressions gazeuses.
