ABREGE DESCRIPTIF L'invention concerne un procédé de conformation à froid de mélanges à base de polybicyclo-[2.2.1]heptène-2 et de ses dérivés de substitution ? chaîne courte, procédé suivant lequel on met en présence un polybicyclo-[2.2.1]hetène-2 ou un de ses dérivés de substitution à chaîne courte sous forme de poudre de densité apparente de 0.2 à 0.5 et au moins un composé à bas point de fusion, on réalise un mélange intime de ces deux constituants tout en veillant à lui conserver une bonne fluidité, on conforme ou moule rapidement le mélange résultant avant sa gélification et on laisse gélifier à température ambiante.
